BudoCup Karate Tournament Ignites the Martial Arts Scene with a Two-Day Extravaganza!

This past weekend, on December 18th and 19th, 2021, the Whitney Institute Auditorium was ablaze with the spirit of martial arts! The 13th Annual BudoCup Karate tournament brought together Bermuda's finest martial artists in a thrilling competition. But that's not all! Local instructors and budding youth athletes also had the golden opportunity to refine their skills in Kumite seminars. These sessions, a highlight of the event, were orchestrated by the esteemed Bermuda Karate Federation (BKF) and led by the renowned international coach, Brandon Abdullah

With 17 exciting divisions on display, including Youth Kata, Black Belt Kata, and Kobudo, the BudoCup was a testament to the rich tapestry of martial arts in Bermuda.

As the curtains came down on this grand event, it also marked the conclusion of the competitive year for Jiketsu Martial Productions and its ally, ShotoCup.
